Cathrine Sadolin's internationally distinguished book & CD Complete Vocal Technique (now also available in German) has formed the basis of Complete Vocal Institute (CVI). CVI is now the largest singing institute in Europe, offering courses of varying lengths and intensities in many countries. Go to Education & Courses to view the full programme.

CVT Sound Library

The new CVT Sound Library with 417 female and 417 male examples and exercises is now ready for download. Click here and enter the license key code from your new version of the book, and listen to sound clips or download all files to use in your media player.

License keys to the CVT Sound Library will soon be available as separate purchase for the price of 14 €. We are working hard on getting the separate license key shop module up and running, and expect it to be working shortly.

Edge

The term ‘Belting' has now changed to ‘Edge'. ‘Belting' is a common word to describe loud singing, so earlier it was an obvious choice for the name of the full-metallic vocal mode. However, during the years we have seen many singers getting confused by the term ‘Belting' because it is used with many different meanings. Some use the word ‘Belting' for a Curbing sound, some for an Overdrive sound and some even use the term for a twanged Neutral sound. In order to prevent this confusion the term ‘Belting' will therefore be avoided and replaced with the term ‘Edge', which is used exclusively for the powerful and full-metallic sound.
